Dua Jendral Meets in Mega Kuningan

Indonesia Faktual. Pair number presidential candidate and vice-presidential candidate number 02, Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno visited SBY's residence in Mega Kuningan Timur, South Jakarta, Thursday (01/10/2019). The meeting with the General Chair of the Democratic Party lasted around 2.5 hours.

The meeting then ended at around 16:30 WIB. The two candidates left SBY's house by riding in their respective cars.

Prabowo Subianto explained when asked by the media crew that the meeting this time was aimed at asking for input from SBY.

"Ask for input, as a coalition, you really have to talk frequently," said Prabowo from his car.

Meanwhile, Ahmad Muzani Secretary General (Secretary General) of the Gerindra Party, who was present at the meeting stated that the input referred to by Prabowo was related to the vision and mission as the presidential candidate and the preparations for the debate from the presidential candidate number 02.

"Pak Prabowo and Mr. Sandi consulted with Pak SBY as the party who won the 2004 and 2009 presidential elections, Pak Prabowo also received direct advice from Mr. SBY to face debates in fit conditions and so on," said Muzani.

In addition, Muzani also conveyed special tips from SBY to Prabowo and Sandiaga facing debates.

"The tips are how to attract as much sympathy and voice of the people as possible because those who choose are not only in the debate room but all Indonesian people," he concluded.

As is known, the first Presidential debate will be held on January 17, 2019. The theme to be raised at the inaugural debate is law, corruption, terrorism and human rights.

Although accustomed to speaking in front of the forum, both Prabowo-Sandiaga and the team winning the presidential candidate number 02, still prepare optimally for the preparation of the Presidential debate. And receiving input from the former 6th President, Susilo Bambang Yudoyono (SBY) is one of the methods taken to finalize the preparation.
